OUR HORIZON HAS CHANGED!

You may notice a change in the masthead above. There's a new ship on the horizon! We are delighted to announce that we're building two new, ultra luxury Seabourn yachts, for delivery in spring 2009 and 2010. They'll be built by T. Mariotti, a Genoa, Italy shipbuilder specializing in beautiful mega-yachts and small, luxury ships. We know that a lot of our Club members have been waiting for this news and we wanted to get the word out quickly.

Each of the new ships will feature 225 luxury suites, ninety percent with private verandas. Specifically designed to enable our Seabourn staff to continue to deliver the unique style of service you’ve come to expect on Seabourn, the ships will be spacious, with sleek lines and the relaxed, personal feel of an oversized yacht. We’ve kept many of your favorite features– the Sky Bar, the water sports Marina, the Spa -- and added exciting new features, too. Club members know that we have been experiencing more demand than we could fulfill for quite some time now. This exciting, new generation of yacht-like ships will allow us to offer the Seabourn Experience to more of our loyal Club members than ever before.

Booking procedure for inaugural sailings during the maiden year of the new ship:

Seabourn’s new, all-suite ship will represent the next evolution of ultra luxury cruising. It is being designed to incorporate the yacht-like character of Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend that our guests have come to treasure, such as the relaxed, sociable ambience and the attentive, personalized service—and to embrace innovative and luxurious additions made possible by increased space. The plans for this beautiful ship and its itineraries are still being finalized, but the initial level of interest and excitement has prompted us to devise a system for accepting reservations that will be at once equitable to our loyal guests and supporters, and manageable for our internal staff.

Guests who wish to sail on voyages during the maiden year can secure a spot on a waitlist by making a standard Seabourn deposit of $1,000 per person, or $2,000 per person for the 14-day maiden voyage. These deposits will be accepted beginning January 29, 2007. (Guests who requested priority notification will receive it, and may make deposits starting January 15, 2007.)

We expect the details about the ship and its schedules to be published by the end of 2007. At that time, waitlisted persons will be notified in advance and given priority booking access, which will allow them to select the specific voyage and accommodation they prefer. These reservations will be accepted according to the following criteria:

• Guests who sail with Seabourn in 2007 or 2008 will have first priority. They will be notified in advance and given a two-week priority booking window. This will include anyone who books and sails on a cruise departing by the end of 2008.

• Seabourn Club members who do not sail in 2007 or 2008 will be granted the second priority notification and a second two-week booking access.
